📜 Rules of Play
- 2–6 players share a 51-card deck — a full deck minus one queen, dealt out evenly.
- Any matching pair you're dealt (or draw) is discarded automatically — no need to call it out.
- On your turn, draw one face-down card from the player next to you — you don't get to see it until it's yours.
- Keep going around the table pairing off cards. Eventually only one card is left in the whole game: the odd queen.
- Whoever ends up holding it is the Old Maid — everyone else paired off clean!
💡 Tips & Tricks
- Try to keep your hand fanned evenly in your head — there's no strategy in which card gets picked, only in staying calm!
- If you're holding the queen, spread out your cards mentally so nobody can guess where it is from your reactions.
- A big hand isn't bad news — it usually means more pairs are about to come off.
- Away too long? The host can remove an inactive seat with the kick button next to their name.
